Expanding By Buying Used Screw Machines

When my father’s small aerospace manufacturing business started to really boom, he realized that in order to keep up with the demand, he was going to have to expand. This meant purchasing at least two new multi spindle machines, possibly even more. Since the business had been all set up when my father purchased it seven years ago, he had no idea how much these machines cost and decided to look into it before he bought them.
He did some basic research on line and after getting a multi spindle estimate from several different companies he realized that he didn’t have the money to purchase them. At least not new. He inquired about refurbished machines and decided that, for the time being, he would buy two used screw machines that would more that satisfy his needs.
Once the machines arrived and he was able to put them in production, they paid for themselves in no time. And my father was then able to buy a third machine, this time a newer model, which helped to increase production even more. He has now gone from a small sized business to a medium one that is able to go after larger contracts.
