Both Linda and Shelly have been going on and on (and on) about how awesome their new windows are.  I’ve been to their houses, and yes, the windows look nice, but I was kind of like, “What’s the big whoop?” and they started laughing.  Now, catty or not, I’m not a big fan of being laughed at.  We kind of got into a fight about that little part, but then like good, normal sisters, they sat down and explained that they didn’t even really care about the window design, but more the fact that the window installation process was really effective and the very next day their thermostats were up a few degrees without touching the heat. 

They called it renewal by Anderson.  I’ll be honest, I don’t entirely believe them, or think that replacement windows will be some kind of miracle cure for my old, drafty house, but I’m not above giving it a shot.  I mean, I’ve noticed some of the paint gapping on the windowsill, so I suppose that could contribute to air leaks.  Plus, I have noticed that there is a visible gap between the French doors, so I’m sure that can’t be good.  My husband put those rubber band stoppers on it, but that looks heinous, so I’m hoping for some good news from these people.
