Not all real estate sales has gone to the dogs

If you work in the real estate profession long enough you usually see pretty much everything. When it comes to families with their pets, sometimes the sights can be down right amusing. An associate recently related a story about a potential client that always traveled around with him toting the family’s Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.
Thinking nothing unusual or out of the ordinary about this situation, the agent would show property after property. Even with some of the amazing deals available as a result of the massive number of foreclosures, nothing seemed to be just right for this prospective buyer.
After a few weeks, and somewhat flummoxed, the agent got down to brass tack with the buyer. He wanted to know exactly what they were looking for; how could he provide better services to them.
The irony of the situation was that in addition to the spaniel the buyer’s family also owned a Chesapeake Bay Retriever. They simply wanted to be able to have as much backyard as their budget would allow for the two dogs, while still getting the maximum home they could afford.
Well, with this new learned information in mind, the agent quickly researched the marketplace, and found not one but two homes that actually had his client stumped. They did, in the end, buy one of those homes and it was a dogs life from there on out.
