My girlfriends and I are very savvy about beauty products and which ones we will or will not use.  We don’t mind spending the extra money in order to buy good quality products such as skin creams, shampoos and conditioners.  We each have our favorite products and even though we don’t all use the same ones, we generally agree on which ones are the best for each of us, realizing that what might work for one may not work for the other.   However, this is not the case with tanning lotion.

Whenever we discuss what we think are the best suntan lotions, we usually end up in a fight.  We have very different opinions on what makes the best tanning lotions.  For some of us it’s how fast and dark the lotion makes us.  For others, we’re more concerned with the protection and nourishment that our skin receives while we’re tanning. 

Personally, I think it should be a bit of both.  Your tanning lotion should help you tan faster and darker while protecting your skin.  I’ve mentioned this a few times, but none of the girls will listen to me.  After all, if we stopped arguing about this, what would we argue about?
