Wrongly Accused

I was out with some friends having a few drinks and watching a ball game at one of the bars near my apartment. As usual, any one of us is probably going to hit on at least one chick if we’re out, and that night was no exception. I mean come on, we’re guys, and that’s what guys do. Anyway, I struck up a conversation with a slightly drunk redhead, and I ended up taking her back to my apartment.

Everything was consensual (she totally threw herself at me). We played safe and used the proper protection, and all in all had a really good time. She snuck out at some point that night as I slept. The next morning there was a knock on my door. I looked through the peephole, and there were two uniformed police officers standing there. I opened the door and they informed me that I was going to jail for raping the girl that I had brought back to my apartment.

No way! Fortunately my sister knows all about California bail bonds because she is a Sacramento bail bonds agent. So she stepped up and did the bail bonds thing and had me out of jail that afternoon. But I still have to go to court. And I feel like I’m labeled as a rapist now even though that couldn’t be further from the truth.
