I don’t know about you but saving money is a big concern of mine these days. I’ve been taking a look at everything that there is to pay for in my life and trying to figure out where I can cut back on things. I’ve drastically reduced my spending on entertainment and indulgences and even significantly reduced what I spend on things like utilities. However, there’s one thing that I’m having a tough time deciding about in terms of whether or not I should make a financial change to it. That thing is my Florida health insurance.

I believe that I have the option of changing my health insurance in FL so that I can get a lower monthly rate. I could do this easily by changing the deductible on my health insurance. However, I’m not sure if this is a wise move to make at this time. On the one hand, I never even use my health insurance and it’s unlikely that I’ll need it anytime soon. On the other hand, if an emergency comes up and I do need it then I’m going to end up spending more in the long run if I’ve changed my deductible to get a lower monthly rate. It’s a tough call. I’m going to keep what I have for now but it’s something I’ve got in the back of my mind if more savings are required of me in the future.
