So, it’s been three days since I last worked on the tattoo flash that we have been maintaining in the books. Specifically, I’ve been updating some of the flower tattoos and some of the in loving memory tattoos. We really have a pretty big selection of designs. I had hoped to digitize all of the books at one point, so I started scanning a couple designs last week before I did the most recent updates. The scans came out all right, but it seems like the books we have will give a better representation of the designs. A computer screen doesn’t do some of the tattoos the justice they deserve.

I’ve been pretty persistent keeping these books up to date considering it is the only real way we can advertise our work when customers come in. Wall displays work well too, but you just can put all of your designs on the wall. It just isn’t feasible. Customers want options, so the logical step is to have books with more designs. We’ve managed to accumulate over 2000 designs in the last year and a half, and they currently occupy 2 shelves on the backroom’s bookshelf. I’d like to see that grow even more.
