I have a great idea for auto insurance companies:  give discounts to people that monitor teens while driving!  I mean, we have nanny cams to keep tabs on our caregivers, we use home security cameras to keep tabs on our other precious possessions, and we even use a spycam to watch contractors or cheating spouses.  Wouldn’t it be a great idea to be able to review the behavior of a teen over the course of his driving day?

It’s a known fact that when people know they are being watched that they behave better.  How many accidents could be avoided if only a teen driver knew that he was being monitored?  Ideally, this would be something like a cctv camera, though I realize it would have to be wireless or something.  Hey, as long as we’re on the subject, how about a nice feed from a camera like this from home to Mom or Dad’s work?  I bet that could avoid a lot of foolery as well.

If they can use something like LoJack to trace your car, what can they come up with to trace our kids?  It could save lives, and I’d rather spend the same money I’m spending on jacked up rates on a camera sort of system instead.
