So I just have to tell you that I am extremely excited. I mean…I haven’t been this excited since I found out my sister was going to have a baby. My first niece that I love to pieces! She’s 4 now and is the cutest thing I think I’ve ever seen. Makes me want kids, but not bad enough to actually go through it. Okay, I digress.

Anyway, I’m excited so I should tell you why. Well, I just got approved for a personal loan which I am using to take a much needed vacation. I’m one of those types that can’t save money at all even though I do earn a decent living. I am able to pay monthly for a vacation, which is why I got the personal loan. I have been researching and I think I am set on the destination: Lake Victoria in Tanzania, Africa!

Many of you out there might be thinking, what is she doing taking a vacation this time of year and in this economy. Well, unlike many industries mine is booming! I’ve been able to pay off many credit cards and I’m so excited for my increased revenues this year. I figure I have worked hard for the past five years, it’s about time I have a streak of good luck and can travel a bit.

Have any of you out there in cyberspace been traveling lately in the bad economy? Any good suggestions on exotic locations for my other trips I’m hoping to plan in the future?
