Case for Florida?

Outboard partsThink about it:  I could be tan year round.  We could move inland a little so we didn’t have to deal with hurricane warnings.  I could go fishing in the Everglades; wait, can you go fishing in the Everglades?

They’ve published all these studies on how good sunshine is for you, vitamin D and endorphins and all that.  In fact, why SHOULDN’T we move to Florida?  I’m not crazy about my job here, and my wife works from home, so she’ll be fine to move anywhere.  We could take a road trip and drive the boat down.  I could get her really excited about boating year round, let her buy some boat accessories from the Mercruiser parts store.

She loves to accessorize anything.  I know there is some stupid stereotype that only old people about to retire move to Florida, but then how is Miami such a hotspot?  We aren’t old or over the hill, I’m just sick of shoveling and not being able to use my boat six months of the year.  I need to get some stern drive parts from the store; maybe I can pick up something cute to convince her of the plan!  I wonder if she’d like one of those dashboard hula girls.
