Our Sales Need to Improve

Our company is one of many affected by this downward turn in the economy. However, we are taking this opportunity to find what we can do to improve our results and run in a more cost effective manner. Our biggest expenditure is our call center operations. Although our call centers are also the most important since that is our direct contact with our customers and our biggest opportunity to initiate and save business. Realizing we need to maximize the opportunities within our call centers we made the decision to use a call center consulting company to help us determine how to run more effectively.
The telesales consultants quickly identified that we needed better scripting and helped the company establish a script we felt comfortable with. They also worked to strengthen our outbound sales team by increasing our leads and our close rates. Most importantly, they helped us to see the benefit of call center outsourcing for a small department that was not being capitalized on and simply costing the company unnecessary money. We restructured those employees to different areas that needed the assistance and we are now running at a better service level.
We are grateful for the opportunity to work with this company and they may have saved us from having to make some terminal decisions.
