I think I’m going to have to quit…

Because my boss is bananas.  BA. NA. NAS.  She just hands me this awesome new product, and I am totally psyched because I love the first rush of getting your hands on new software-everything is clean and perfect and beautiful and you get to build from the ground up.  It is a fresh slate, there are no problems yet, no errors, no blue screens.  But so she hands me this rockin’ asp.net storefront software, and I ask her how much content she wants put up there-thinking she’d say just reprogram the catalog and get it set up for a dry run.  But no.  She says she wants me working round the clock until it is chock full of content.  CHOCK FULL?  This software supports over a thousand pages.  A thousand!  That would be great if I didn’t have a life (which, yeah, ok, mine is a little meager at the moment, but it will DIE if I do this!).  I don’t see what’s wrong with setting up a simple ecommerce storefront and online shopping cart.  She’s simply expecting too much of me.  I can deliver a website that’s beautiful, professional, and well managed, without a thousand pages.  If that is what she wants, I can give her a thousand pages-in a normal amount of time.
